Warranty & Returns

At Sensery, we stand by the quality and craftsmanship of every product. Our voluntary warranty provides comprehensive protection, and it applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Guarantees:

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Your ACL rights include guarantees that our products will:

  • Be of acceptable quality (safe, durable, free from defects, acceptable in appearance).

  • Be fit for any purpose we or you told us about before purchase.

  • Match any description or sample provided.

  • Have spare parts and repair facilities reasonably available for a reasonable time after purchase.


2. Sensery Limited Warranty Against Defects:

The following is our voluntary warranty, offered in addition to your automatic rights under the ACL. This warranty is effective from the date of purchase for both residential and commercial customers.

Warranty Coverage Period:

Casting Defects & Porosity - Limited Lifetime Warranty
Cartidges, Aerators, & Valves - 10 Years
Surface Finish - 5 Years
Washers & O-rings - 2 Years


Warranty Claim Process:

  1. Notification: The customer must notify Sensery Pty Ltd immediately upon discovering a defect covered by this warranty.

  2. Evidence: The customer must provide proof of purchase (tax invoice or receipt) and sufficient evidence of the defect (e.g., photos or video).

  3. Remedy: Upon acceptance of a valid claim, Sensery Pty Ltd will, at its option, repair or replace the defective part or product.

3. General Terms & Exclusions:

The following conditions apply to the Sensery Limited Warranty Against Defects (Section 2) and are consistent with your obligations under the ACL.

Requirements for Warranty Validity:

  • Professional Installation: To ensure the proper functioning and longevity of the product, all installation and maintenance must be completed by a licensed and qualified tradesperson (e.g., licensed plumber).

Exclusions (What is Not Covered):

This warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by:

  • Misuse or Abuse: Failure caused by improper cleaning, neglect, abnormal use, or physical damage.

  • Installation Errors: Faults arising from installation or maintenance not performed by a licensed and qualified tradesperson.

  • Wear & Tear: Normal wear and tear, including deterioration due to aggressive cleaning agents, exposure to harsh environmental conditions, or fair use over time.

  • Water Quality: Damage caused by unfiltered bore water, hard water mineral deposits, or poor water quality.

Scope of Remedy:

  • Parts Only: The Sensery Limited Warranty covers replacement parts only. It specifically excludes the costs associated with the labour for removal, installation, or re-installation of replacement parts or products.

  • Consequential Loss: Our liability is strictly limited to the cost of the replacement part/product. The warranty excludes compensation for any consequential loss or damage caused by defects in the product or its components (e.g., water damage, loss of profits, downtime). Note: The ACL may entitle a consumer to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage due to a major failure.
